what was i thinking?
the other day, i decided to do some LONG-overdue purging.
this meant getting rid of my vintage computer collection.
i almost barfed.
the picture above was a casualty, that wasn't meant to be a casualty. i almost wept when it happened.
here is the rest of what i threw out.
yes there are duplicate computers, but they are NOT duplicate images. and by the way, this is not all of what i threw out, nor is it everything that i have.........
i am still going through post-partum depression.
:(

nice collection of vintage computers.
i remember getting rid of a similar one (many years ago. it looked like DS00045/46 and was called Pravetz8A and i really had it. see some information (although, it's scanty) about it here
btw, everything comes to its end (it's about your depression)
i managed to find some photos of the series. interesting to read that it was a clone of the apple ][. i still have one of those - and won't be parting with it very soon......
also found some more information about it here. be sure to read the comments, because they provide a little more information!
thanks for the links. in fact, i had Pravetz8C and it was the last one of this series produced in that factory. two or three years later the factory stopped producing computers (they produce 16-bit ones and they were more expensive) and it was closed. interesting that i worked at the factory near Pravets where we produced micro chips for computers and other electronic devices. a bit later it was also shut down.
btw, we used BASIC for programming on it.
so great. it reminds me past times.
and Fortran :) great times ;)
lazy : believe it or not, i still have some books of machine language kicking around some place. i like how it is written - i almost find it soothing to look at.
very pretty.
perhaps i will post some of it at some point!
Nerd!!!
why did you chuck those out??
weren't they at least saleable?
you SHOULD be depressed!
